There can be many obstacles that keep us<br \/>\nfrom saying these simple words.<\/p>\n<p>Should you apologize? You may feel that you don\u2019t need to apologize or maybe that the other person should apologize to you.<\/p>\n<p>An effective apology contains five elements, while an ineffective apology usually misses the mark on at least one of these areas:<br \/>\n\u2022  Acknowledge the Offense;<br \/>\n\u2022  Explain What Happened;<br \/>\n\u2022  Express Remorse;<br \/>\n\u2022  Offer to Make Reparations; and<br \/>\n\u2022  Listen.<\/p>\n<p>Offering an apology allows you to accept your role in the situation.
